We left behind these games for the last page purposely, because they may be worthy to buy DX11 compatible graphics card. All three are able to take advantage of the opportunities of new API in a some kind of measure. Battleforge scattered one, but new S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and Dirt 2 can support testellation too.

This page is not about GTX 285, we can see now how much it had had its day, vainly the muscle, if there is not mind in the flat bag. HD 5850 could produce double FPS than GTX 285 in both resolutions and Radeon stayed above 30 FPS, what is capable to play. HD 5870 can offer proper calmness, but that is clear the double GPU systems are not unambitious when need 3D performance. The mode almost usual, HD 5870 CF wins the event, in the smaller resolution could beat 5970, but in 1920 × 1080 it is beated.

Here we are with Call of Pripyat the new title of S.T.A.L.K.E.R., what has a lot of fan. We turned on the testellation, and it can shows on the results. The giants could neighter go above 70 FPS. GTX 285 do not put it out into the window what it does, there is not too much reason to waste a worthy word on it. HD 5850 hold up itself stuggle, but on sunny slides go down under 30 FPS in 1680 × 1050, it do it three times in FULL HD. HD 5870 can resolve the task with stretching in minor resolution, but it cannot stay above 30 FPS at the SunShafts slide in 1920 × 1080. HD 5870 CF could not work this time, but it would be the winner, because of this problem HD 5970 easily get to the edge, although the HD 5850 CF is very near to it.

The last title of review is Dirt 2, what we tired in the office first time. It made interesting things in several areas. GTX 285 ran in DX10 mode of course, but with the same settings as Radeons. HD 5970’s bad performance is a mistery, it was not able to manage Dirt 2 by some reasons, what should be driver problems. HD 5870 CF could give results, so it got to the edge according to waitings, but just in 1920 × 1080, there was some problem in smaller resolution too. HD 5970 dipped onto its ridiculous level without an example. There was everything all right in FULL HD – except the previous trouble -, GTX 285 had good results, so we may extract that DirectX 11 cause performance decrease, what can be lead back to testellation.
