Can AMD Ryzen 3 2300X Surprise?
The first measurements appeared, the numbers speak for themselves.
The cheaper versions of the Ryzen 2000 series are still waiting for themselves, but they are probably close to the start, as more and more leakages have been reported over the past few weeks. Right now the Ryzen 3 2300X has come to the fore, some interesting measurements have been made on the Chinese ChipHell site.
- CPU-Z: 509 and 2 020 points
- Cinebench R15: 690 point
The recipe for the first blitz - apparently in its class - is not a recipe: at its predecessor, the maximum clock speed (XFR) increased by 500 MHz, which can already be seen as a marked change. It seems that the second installment of the Zen architecture feels good with the 12 nm production technology, so the engineers' margin of maneuver has somewhat expanded after the first generation. The aforementioned scores move on Core i3 8350K, which makes it almost as cheap as AMD's solution.
The only stain of the Ryzen 3 2300X is the lack of IGP; in this segment, you can decide on a purchase yourself. The solution is then Ryzen 3 2200G, but there is certainly a somewhat more modest pace on the processor cores.
