Motherboard for expansion card lovers

We used to see so many PCI slots among motherboards.

In addition to users excited about new technologies, Gigabyte's latest product also wants to please "old school" devotees. The GA-P35-S3G is another contender in the manufacturer's P35 team, but the absence of the "D" mark already indicates that we are dealing with a cheaper package.

We wouldn't even go into detail about the features of the P35+ICH9 pair, everyone was already sufficiently informed from our articles and news, the only thing that might be new on a relatively new motherboard is the six-channel sound processor. Much more interesting is the view of the components on the PCB, which may bring back memories of P3/P4 for many, when there was no mention of the PCI Express standard. The engineers condensed a total of 5 PCI rails onto the blue board, which may be more than enough even for the "PCI card hard core". Of course, for the sake of modernity, they couldn't leave the representatives of Express behind either, although the single-speed socket is, as usual, in an unmanageable place.
